Commissioners & Chairs

Commissioners and Chairs are appointed officers within Joint Session. Commissioners serve niche interests, groups, and constituencies amongst the student population. Chairs serve in roles that are key to the operation and maintenance of SGA as an organization.

Commissioners meet with the Executive President every Thursday from 2:00-3:45 PM to discuss issues affecting the Emerson community, brainstorm, and update the Executive President on their particular constituencies and projects. While not required, Chairs are also encouraged to attend Commissioner's Council to review matters pertinent to their positions and lend their voice to the discussion.
