Voting

The most important thing to know is when/where to vote. All undergraduate students will be able to vote in the SGA Elections between 7:00am on Wednesday, April 3 and 7:00am on Friday, April 5. Students can access the ballot by heading to emersonsga.org/vote or logging onto EmConnect. (Please note, the ballot will not be accessible until the time noted above).

Students are able to vote for the SGA Executive Board, the Senator for their academic department, their Class* officers (*with the exception of the Senior class), and whether or not they approve of the amendments to the SGA Constitution.

In addition, students from every class should participate in voting for Voice Your Choice to designate where within Student Access they would like to see their class’s funds go.

Candidates

Below are the candidates that will be on the ballot for each position and any known write-in candidates. All candidates designated with a star (*) are write-in candidates who will not appear on the ballot. To vote for a write in candidate, students will need to write in the candidate’s name on the ballot for that specific position.

Positions with no candidates on the ballot or any known write-in campaigns will also be designated below. Students that are interested in running write-in campaigns are encouraged to do so. Please contact sga_chiefjustice@emerson.edu with any questions or concerns.

(Note: The write-in candidates designated below are only the write-in campaigns that we in SGA have been made aware of. If you are running a write in campaign and would like to see your name added to this list, please email sga_president@emerson.edu ASAP).

For more information about any of these areas or Voice Your Choice in general, please visit the Voice Your Choice website.

Students will be able to choose from the following:

  • Student Assistance Fund

  • General Scholarship Fund

  • Emerson Enhancement Fund
